Mmmmyaaa... Like I posted in a previous thead re pay-2-play games;
If they want me 2 pay per month, they should issue the game for free.
Paying R300 - R450 for a game, and then an additional R160 - R170 per month to play it!?!
I'm just too stingy 4 that
Anyways... I just got home, can likes to be ravenous! FEED ME!
Going to the hospital just now 2 go visit my gran. She turned 90 yrs young last thursday, and she had a light stroke on monday evenin... Too much partying lol

well, the ames ypou pay to play, is almost everytime better than the games with no pay to play.
come on, it's what, 10$ a month?? MAX!!!, if you can't pay that, you can't pay a rent really. I would understand people didn't play it they didn't like it, ubt to say it's because pay to play.........
So you wouldn't play GW? to buy GW and all the "expansions" it costs the same as 6 months play time at WoW..... Sorry just hate that argument as it is really stupid.
Besides patches comes faster, fixes comes faster, and you get free content.
Now i'm NOT preaching about WoW because it has it's faults and stuff like all games, just don't use that argument about pay-to-play as it's cheaper than 1 gallon of gas!

It's like $17 if I'm not mistaken...
See, I believe in "pay once, play forever"
Personally I'd rather take that R160 - R180 (depending on the exchange rate) and buy a new game every 2 months (a New release here costs R300).
That way I'll never get bored with a single game and if I don't play for a couple of weeks It wouldn't feel like I wasted money.

I'll admit that you have a point there.
Everyone here has bought several games before that goes into the bin after a week of play... (Quake Wars: Enemy Territory anyone?)
I guess one day I will buy a game and play the 30-days "free trial" and then make up my mind
Also, me being a casual gamer and not having thousands of hours per year to spend on games anymore is also a huge factor here.
I would love to play all the MMORPG's currently out there, but I've kinda committed myself to GuildWars.
Unfortunately these kinda games are only worth it (in my opinion) if you spend a lot of time on it (that damn KOABD title haunts me at night)

yeah if GW support wasn't so freaking bitc´hy i would have at least 30 maxed titles.
Ah great response on my question, but again 17$ still isn't much for a FUN game, i would understand if it was Age Of Conan! (just kiding AoC fans) well, i'm pretty casual too, got to level 70 in 4 weeks, still managed to gear my tank up to do the first "big instances" in WoW, and i'm casual as hell, sometimes all i do is "chat" with people.
You should try either WoW or AoC really, 1 of those games would definately be worth the money, just get a "free Trial" and see if you like it, if not, then throw it away, but remember if you try WoW, come to my server, mwiuahahhahahahaha

Wow you guys went crazy today lol Hope your grandma is okay Hannes. My gf's grandpa had a stroke and it really effected him and it is hard on her and her family. So I hope she is okay.
Vactation time? Dang I wish I had some... I go from the school year straight to my summer job. >.> No real vacation time...
Today at work was kinda fun. Worked outside for 2 hours and didn't have to strip the bathrooms. Thank goodness. Stood around for the last 30 mins of the day. It was awesome. Plus my head supervisor found out I was probably not coming back next year and started to pretty much stroke my ego. He even admitted he was because he was trying to get me to come back next year. oO Unfortunetly for him I don't have much of an ego so it didn't work lol OH did find out we do get a pizza party this year. <3 Pizza parties!

No it was a quote from one of my friends at work. He was using a leaf blower to clean by the doors. And our supervisor was trying to tell him what to do and he just yelled "THIS IS STUPID!" It was pretty funny.
It prolly would Circus. People are weird like that.
lol No I don't have to wax them. I'm not the waxer. oO My friend who yelled "This is stupid!" is our waxer.

Too much talk, didn't read all of it...xD.
If I remember correctly the monthly fee for WoW is 15$.
Any name can get banned. I'm sure someone would be offended with Pimpy Mchoslap lol.

yeah friday...and exactly WHY am I awake at this time??
welllllll since its very close to the weekend, they have decided it was a good time to tear up our street---starting at 8am this morning (and for those peeps out there---I go to bed a 5am)....so a rather rude wake up call.
then my doc calls---nope nothing on the ultra sound, (yeah I kinda knew that) so another $900 goes bye-bye....and still no closer to figuring out my mysterious illness which is progressing into its 4 week (only wish I was losing weight with it too--)....
hubby is working from home today as well and complaining about our horrible connection.....he is a few weeks behind I have been complaining about it since before easter. Sporadic is what I call it....sometimes its great, other times for no reason we can think of it just doesnt work....
must get groceries....which means putting my car at risk by driving down our street....
